PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin capable of sufficiently securing all of heat resistance estimated from melting point Tm, melt moldability estimated from the temperature difference (Tm-Tc), dimensional stability at a high temperature, estimated from the glass-transition temperature (Tg), low water absorption and ethanol barrier properties. ! SOLUTION: Th polyamide resin includes a unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid and a unit derived from a diamine. The dicarboxylic acid contains an oxalic acid compound (compound A) and the diamine contains an amine (compound B) having a structure represented by formula (1) mentioned below.
