<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case in which thickness of a side wall can be made thin while securing bonding strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the battery case 1, a lid plate 40 is fitted with an opening 11 formed at an upper part of a square case body 10 having side walls 12 with a long side face part 21 and a short side face part 22 and a bottom face, and a peripheral edge of the lid plate 40 is welded from above and jointed to the case body 10 and sealed. When the lid plate 40 is fitted with the opening 11, a gap is generated relative to the short side face part 22, and the lid plate 40 is dimensioned to contact the long side face part 21. In the case body 10, a step part 32 receiving the lid plate 40 is formed on the short side face part 22 and a tapered part 31 inclined inward to the bottom part of the case is formed at one part of the long side face part 21 below a contact portion of the lid plate 40. An upper position 31a of the tapered part 31 is coincident with a lower face side square part 42 at the peripheral edge of the lid plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
