<p>A hydrogen and oxygen generator of the dry cell type comprises an apparatus made from non-conducting materials for holding a plurality of parallel electrode plates 1, 2, 6 in series, containment chambers 7 of electrolyte solution formed by gaps between adjacent electrode plates, an electrical connection on two or more of the plates, wherein the edges of the plates are sealed from contact with the electrolyte solution and a combination of two plates on either side of a chamber forms an electrolysis cell 8, 9, 10. An electrolyte solution exit aperture 4 of a cell is preferably connected via a conduit to an electrolyte solution entry aperture 3 of an adjacent cell. Each cell may have a hydrogen and oxygen gas exit aperture 5 near the top of its chamber, wherein said apertures are preferably connected via one or more conduits to a bubbler apparatus that may be connected via a conduit to an air inlet system of an internal combustion engine. The electrical connections may be connected to amperage flow controlling electronic circuitry.</p> |
