PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system in which registers are separated into a registration device and a settlement device and the registration device issues details of articles whose slip has been issued and details of articles that a customer additionally purchases together in one slip. SOLUTION: A POS register in which articles that a customer is to purchase are registered and which issues a slip where an accounting code specifying transaction data as details of the registered articles is printed includes: a read part which reads the accounting code printed on the issued slip; a control part which reads the transaction data corresponding to the accounting code read by the read part, and adds details of articles that the customer is to additionally purchase to the read transaction data; and an issue part which issues a slip where the accounting code specifying transaction data to which the details of the articles are added by the control part.
