The interaction tip comprises a body (70) having two interlocked cylindrical elements, i.e. an outer cylindrical element (80) and an inner cylindrical element (82) inserted into a cylindrical passage (100) of the inner cylindrical element with an axis XX' and having a passage surface (102), each of the cylindrical elements comprising two edges, i.e. a lower edge (86, 110) and an upper edge (84, 108), the inner cylindrical element comprising the opening (83) in said XX' axis for the passage of the electron beam, an outer surface (112) having the same shape as the passage surface (102) of the outer cylindrical element so as to be in direct contact with said passage surface (102) of the outer cylindrical element, the inner cylindrical element (82) comprising at least two helical grooves on the outer surface (112) thereof, i.e. a first groove (R1) and a second groove (R2) wound in parallel to each other between the two edges (108, 110) of said inner cylindrical element (82), the first groove (R1) and the second groove (R2) having one of the respective ends (Ex1, Ex2) thereof on the side of the upper edge (108) of the inner cylindrical element (82), the other two ends of said two grooves (R1, R2) being connected on the side of the lower edge (110) of the inner cylindrical element (82) so as to form, together with the passage surface (102) of the outer cylindrical element (80), a flow channel (CL) for the coolant of the interaction tip. The invention can be used in microwave tubes having a high average power, in klystrons, etc.
