<p>The present invention relates to a resin composition having excellent corrosion resistance, processability, and adhering force to a steel pipe and a hot-dip galvanized pipe (galvanized steel pipe), and a volatile organic compound (VOC) reducing paint composition using the same. A resin used in a VOC reducing paint composition of the present invention is a phosphate ester-modified styrene alkyd resin and has excellent corrosion resistance, processability, and adhering force to a steel pipe and a hot-dip galvanized pipe (galvanized steel pipe) compared to an existing styrene alkyd resin. Also, in the preparation of a paint using the phosphate ester-modified styrene alkyd resin, a VOC reducing paint can be prepared by partially using dimethyl carbonate instead of existing solvents such as toluene and xylene, in comparison with an existing paint composition.</p> |
