The present invention relates to a reader structure. A device disclosed on the present invention is a reader which includes a sensor stack having a first layer and a barrier layer, wherein the barrier layer is in contact with a lower shielding part. The present invention is the reader including a magnetic free layer and a first barrier layer on the first side of the free layer, wherein the barrier layer is contact with the lower shielding part in a down track direction. The lower shielding part includes a first synthesis antiferromagnetic (SAF) structure. |
