PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of enhancing security by using a PUF of a semiconductor element, and a semiconductor element.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the information processing system includes a time constant processing part, and a pattern generation part. The time constant processing part binarizes values that respectively show a plurality of unit circuits on the basis of respective emission time constants showing a time from when the defect of a gate insulting film acquires a carrier of channel current that is caused to flow by applying gate voltage to the plurality of unit circuits respectively including a gate insulating film until the defect emits the carrier. The pattern generation part generates a pattern unique to the plurality of unit circuits by using values respectively showing the plurality of unit circuits, digitized by the time constant processing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
