<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene sulfide porous body having high strength and high structural uniformity, and a production method for easily producing the polyphenylene sulfide porous body.SOLUTION: A polyphenylene sulfide porous body has a connected spherical structure where a plurality of neighboring nearly spherical structures are three-dimensionally connected, and having a continuous pore formed by gap parts of the connected spherical structure. A method for producing the polyphenylene sulfide porous body comprises: heat-treating a resin molded body (b) having a sea-island structure containing polyphenylene sulfide as an island component and a thermoplastic resin (a) as a sea component wherein a relative standard deviation of a number average diameter of polyphenylene sulfide particles constituting the island component is 0.2 or less; and, after forming a resin molded body (c) having a co-continuous structure (c), removing the thermoplastic resin (a) from the resin molded body (c).</p> |
