PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage device in which the number of detection components can be reduced.SOLUTION: A massage device 1 includes: a treatment element 25; a driving source 26; an arm rotary shaft 23; an arm 24; a displacement detection section 30; and a control section 50. The treatment element 25 moves along the back face of a human body. The driving source 26 moves the treatment element 25. The arm rotary shaft 23 and the arm 24 are connected to the driving source 26 for moving the treatment element 25. The displacement detection section 30 detects displacement magnitude of the arm rotary shaft 23. On the basis of the displacement magnitude of the arm rotary shaft 23, the control section 50 calculates movement time when the treatment element 25 moves from a minimum projection position to an intermediate projection position and changes the output of the driving source 26 according to the movement time. |
