PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a specific object even when only a part of the specific object to be detected is displayed in an image.SOLUTION: A root score that indicates a probability of the whole shape of a specific object, part scores taking into consideration of positions of the parts relative to the specific object, that indicate probabilities of respective parts, and in addition scores that indicate probabilities of the relative positional relationships among the respective parts, are used for calculating an evaluation point S that indicates the probability that the specific object or a part thereof exists. |
