PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recover foreign substances accumulated on the edge part of a blade of a cleaning device to suppress the foreign substances from passing through the blade.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 6 of an image forming apparatus A includes a blade (leveling blade 64 or cleaning blade 61) that is arranged opposite to a photoreceptor 1 and brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the photoreceptor 1, and a magnetic brush 63b that is arranged adjacent to the photoreceptor 1 on the upstream side of the blade when viewed in the direction of rotation of the photoreceptor 1, where the magnetic brush 63b forms a magnetic field with a range in which its bristles can reach the edge part of the blade, and changes the magnetic field to flow the bristles of the magnetic brush 63b. |
