The present invention relates to a module for integration into a mobile terminal, in order to estimate the ambient temperature by which the ambient temperature of the mobile terminal may be ascertained in as accurate a manner as possible, and in which the expenditure for calibration is simultaneously limited. The module includes: a first unit for measuring the temperature; and a second unit for measuring the temperature region wherein the first unit for measuring the temperature can measure a first temperature in a first region and the second unit for measuring the temperature can measure a second temperature in a second region. The module includes an evaluation device configured to ascertain a temperature difference between the first temperature in the first region and the second temperature in the second region, necessary for estimating the ambient temperature. |
