PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device and a generation method capable of suppressing the deterioration of a power generation part while generating a power efficiently.SOLUTION: A power generation device comprises: a positive osmotic part having a positive osmotic film arranged to separate a first liquid and a second liquid higher in solute concentration than a first liquid; and a power generation part arranged closer to the first liquid side than the positive osmotic part. The power generation part is activated to generate a power by the flow of the first liquid, which is established by the movement of a solvent through the positive osmotic part from the first liquid to the second liquid. |
