<p>A steering lock device 1 having a lock member 3 configured to engage with a steering shaft to prevent its rotation, a drive mechanism which causes the lock member to engage with or disengage from the steering shaft, and a housing body 2 in which these are arranged. The lock member 3 and housing 2 each have mutually engaging portions (2g, 8c) which can be indentations, protrusions, grooves, or ridges. The walls of the housing will deform when hit and the mutual portions (2g, 8c) will then engage to prevent the release of the lock member.</p> |
