A display panel has a display area and a non-display area, and the display panel comprises: a first substrate and a second substrate which are oppositely arranged, and a liquid crystal molecule layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first substrate and the second substrate are both provided with an alignment film at positions corresponding to the display area, and are both provided with a sealant area used for coating a sealant at positions corresponding to the non-display area, and the sealant area of the first substrate which is close to the surface of the liquid crystal molecule layer is provided with a first raising layer, wherein the first raising layer enables the sealant area of the first substrate to be higher than the display area thereof; and the sealant area of the second substrate which is close to the surface of the liquid crystal molecule layer is provided with a second raising layer, wherein the second raising layer enables the sealant area of the second substrate to be higher than the display area thereof. The display panel has a better display effect while having a narrow frame.
