FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: oil storage comprises a body with a lateral vertical wall closed in the horizontal plane, a flat bottom, charging and discharging pipelines. Inside the oil storage body there is a flat steel sheet of minimum thickness, which floats at oil surface and covers cross-section of the oil storage with its potential shifting up and down along the vertical line in regard to inner surface of the lateral vertical wall. At the lower surface of the sheet there are supports filled with compressed air thus ensuring buoyancy of the sheet at oil in the oil storage. At lateral edges of the sheet at its upper surface there is a fixed elastic loop, which may interact with inner surface of the lateral vertical wall of the oil storage and close to the oil storage bottom at lateral sides there are fixed protrusions, which ensure support of the sheet. At that the lower end of the charging pipeline is placed at the level of protrusions, the sheet is made with an opening for the charging pipeline equipped with elastic packoff, which may interact with external surface of the charging pipeline.EFFECT: excluding oil evaporation and loss from the oil storage and preventing fire hazardous situation thus improving operational reliability of the oil storage.2 dwg |
