PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive derived from lignocellulose which can suppress the diffusion of formaldehyde and has high adhesiveness and to provide a wooden composite material using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive derived from lignocellulose mainly composed of an organosilicon compound which is obtained by hydrolysis of [I] a water-soluble substance derived from lignocellulose and [II] 100 pts.mass of a hydrolyzable silane (A) having a nitrogen atom-containing organic group of the following general formula (1), YRSiR(1) or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof and 5 to 200 pts.mass of a hydrolyzable silane (B) of the following general formula (2), RSiR(2) or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof, in which the adhesive is applied to a wooden substrate and then adhered and cured. |
