A clipboard includes to a lifter device 1 configured to engage with the clip 70 of a clipboard and aid a user in lifting the clip. The lifter device 1 comprises an arm member 2 having a first end (4, Fig.1) and a second end (6, Fig.1). The first end (4, Fig.1) includes a hook portion 10 for engagement with a clip 70 of a clipboard. An actuation member 8 is configured to receive the second end (6, Fig.1) of the arm member 2. The actuation member 8 being separable from and engagable with the arm member 2; wherein, in use, when the actuation member 8 is engaged with said second end (6, Fig.1), a part of the actuation member 8 is arranged to apply a force to the arm member 2 so as to pivot the arm member 2 about a point (18, Fig.1) between said first and second ends (4, 6, Fig.1). |
