PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber that suppresses or eliminates vibration generated in audio instruments and reduces electric noise, and to provide a method of using the absorber. SOLUTION: The absorber is produced by charging a liquid of organic solvent, polymeric material, or the like in an inner space of a plastic cardboard, an acrylic vessel, or the like, and subsequently sealing an opened potion with sealing material. At least one of the dipole moment and the molecular weight of the liquid is selected such that a rotational frequency of the liquid molecules may equal the vibration and/or noise to be absorbed. Specifically, the absorber is excellent in elimination performance on noise relating to an electric power source and noise relating to a vibration source such as a speaker etc. and greatly improves the sound quality of audio instruments.
