The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications. Disclosed are a method, terminal, controller, gateway, and system for network switchover. The method comprises: when a terminal is accessing a first network, data comprising an initial TCP four-tuple is converted into data comprising a first TCP four-tuple and transmitted to the gateway; and, after a switchover from the first network to a second network, the data comprising the initial TCP four-tuple is converted into data comprising a second TCP four-tuple and transmitted to the gateway. By converting data comprising an initial TCP four-tuple into data comprising a first TCP four-tuple prior to the network switchover, and by converting data comprising the initial TCP four-tuple into data comprising a second TCP four-tuple after the network switchover, the present invention achieves the goal of uninterrupted connection before and after the network switchover, of enhanced user experience, and at the same time of reduced switchover process complexity. |
