This tag device is provided with a time detection means, a position detection means, an input means, a first recording means, a selection means, and a communication means. The time detection means detects the current time. The position detection means detects the current position. The input means is normally set to one of on or off, and when a predetermined operation is performed by a user, switches to the other of on or off. The first recording means records one unit of first information and a plurality of units of second information. The selection means selects the first information when the input means is set to one of on or off, and when the input means is switched to the other of on or off, selects one of the units of second information on the basis of the current time that the time detection means has detected and the current position that the position detection means has detected.
