<p>The present invention relates to a diagnosis method for a multimedia device of a vehicle, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an effective method which can automatically diagnose a connected state and operational states of a speaker and a microphone after an in-line assembly of the multimedia device at a factory. To achieve the above object, the diagnosis method for the multimedia device according to the present invention includes the steps of: generating a diagnosis signal with frequencies of an audible frequency band by a signal generator to send the diagnosis signal through a diagnosis antenna; receiving the diagnosis signal to the multimedia device assembled to the vehicle through a vehicle antenna; controlling output of a speaker inside the vehicle by a control unit of the multimedia device to output sound according to the received diagnosis signal and receiving a sound signal outputted from the speaker through a microphone inside the vehicle; and analyzing frequencies of the sound signal inputted through the microphone by the control unit of the multimedia device, diagnosing whether or not there is any malfunction in the speaker and the microphone and outputting diagnosis results.</p> |
