The present invention relates to a propeller shaft for a vehicle characterized by allowing weight reduction of the whole propeller shaft while maintaining torque transmission, reducing the whole weight of a vehicle to enhance fuel efficiency, retaining good durability by virtue of properties of a complex material such as high specific strength and specific elastic modulus, excellent static strength and fatigue characteristics, good friction and abrasion resistance, and absorbing vibration and impact to maintain ride comport. The propeller shaft comprises a CV joint coupled to an object to which power is transmitted and a tube coupled to the CV joint which are formed as a one-piece using a complex material, the CV joint being coupled to the tube via a coupling means.
