PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device of electronic components which solves the problems that there is a need to preliminarily prepare the number of IC device holders having different sizes for every IC device as change kits, it takes high cost to produce the plurality of change kits, and it takes much time and effort to replace the change kits.SOLUTION: In a transport device of electronic components, each of a plurality of electronic components (18) is held in an electronic component holding space formed by fixing first and second guide block pieces (13-2A and 13-2B) on a shuttle plate (13-1) by using positioning holes predetermined in accordance with a distance between a pair of opposing corners of the bottom surface of the electronic component (18). Light reaching from one end of the shuttle plate to the other end is irradiated along top surfaces of the plurality of electronic components held between electronic component holding sections along a lengthwise direction of the first and second guide block pieces. An optical sensor (31) detects that the irradiated light is shielded by the obliquely held electronic components in accordance with thicknesses of the electronic components. |
