<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire capable of enhancing an E* (complex modulus) with suppressing tanδ(loss tangent) at around 70°C and reducing environmental load, and pneumatic tires using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires comprises a rubber component, a lignophenol derivative and a filler. The composition preferably comprises, based on 100 pts.mass rubber component, 0.5-50 pts.mass lignophenol derivative and 10-150 pts.mass filler.
