Provided is a high current switching apparatus using a semiconductor which can block flow of high current without damage to a semiconductor element and is small in volume and is low in price. The high current switching apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a printed circuit board into which two metallic bars having one ends externally exposed are inserted; at least one semiconductor for power mounted on the printed circuit board and electrically connected to the two metallic bars; a current measuring part measuring the current flowing through the metallic bars; and a driving circuit part electrically connected to the current measuring part and the semiconductor for power and making the semiconductor block the current according the current value measured by the current measuring part.
