<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating xerophthalmia comprising a compound. According to the present invention, the pharmaceutical composition selectively improves symptoms of xerophthalmia and is effective in alleviating and preventing eye discomfort caused by various inflammation expression situations such as treatment, prevention, and condition after surgery of eye diseases. Also, the present invention can easily diagnose xerophthalmia or pain symptoms of eyes by using a kit for detecting amounts of PGE2, PGD2, and COX2, thereby being widely used for understanding not only a patient of xerophthalmia, but also a patient after ophthalmic surgery.</p> |
