<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can greatly increase attention to a game.SOLUTION: On a board surface of a game board 24, a game area is provided. In the game area, an upper operation port 33 and a lower operation port 34 are provided. When game balls enter the upper operation port 33, the entrance is stored to a main controller as retention information; when the game balls enter the lower operation port 34, the entrance is stored to the main controller as retention information. On the basis of the retention information about the upper operation port 33 or the retention information about the lower operation port 34, variable display of a symbol in a symbol display device 41 and variable display of a pattern in a main display part 43 are started.
