<p>A bearing part forms part of a road vehicle trailer coupling and is fixed to the towing vehicle. On it is located a pivot part with a ball throat and a coupling ball, the latter being pivotable relatively to the bearing part around an axis between a rest position and a work position. The pivot part (14) has two spaced apart stop components and the bearing part (10) is provided with two support components. For fixing the ball throat (16) in the work position, one of the support components and one of the stop components work together to produce a pivot movement of the ball throat in a first direction, which the other of the support components and the other of the stop components counteract, so that the stop components and the support components locate against each other in a clearance free manner.</p> |
