<p>An assembly for an access chamber includes a base (16) with a lower channel defining a socket (18, figure 10) extending peripherally. There are a plurality of panels 17, each panel including a top edge, a bottom edge and flanges on two vertical sides. A housing 26 includes an aperture configured to be connected to a frame for an access cover to close the chamber in use. A connecting member (4, figure 8) has an elongate body and two channels (6, figure 4), each channel being adapted to engage a flange of a panel so that the connecting member forms a permanent sealed engagement between two adjacent panels. One of the housing and panels includes an upper socket (27, figure 13) extending peripherally of the chamber and the other of the housing and panel includes a flange to be received in the socket. The flanges when received into respective sockets or channels are secured by an adhesive to form a permanently sealed engagement.</p> |
