A knitting machine for producing knitted goods provided with a pattern is disclosed. The knitting machine comprises at least one board (40), knitting tools (7) mounted to be movable on the board (40), at least one knitting section, movable relative to the board (40) defining at least two different tracks for the knitting tools (7) and at least one pattern device by means of which the knitting tools (7) in sequential section steps are distributed along the at least two tracks according to the pattern. According to the invention, the pattern device is designed such that in each selection step at least two knitting tools (7) lying adjacent on the board (40) are simultaneously selected and controlled in one and the same of the at least two tracks. |
