PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad simulator capable of detecting finger pointing movement following a real procedure in a situation close to a real circumstance.SOLUTION: A railroad simulator 10, which simulates a rail car operation, comprises: a cockpit 54; a control panel 51 which, placed in front of the cockpit, has equipment a trainee operates provided on the top face; and a finger pointing movement detecting part 32 for detecting a finger pointing movement of a trainee P in the cockpit. The finger pointing movement detecting part 32, which is placed above the cockpit 54 and the control panel 51, comprises: detection means 70 for optically detecting the movement of an arm R of the trainee P; and identification means 80 for identifying the arm R and a fingertip of the trainee P from data detected by the detection means. |
