<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the kinetic energy of a vehicle during braking when charging of a battery is limited in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: It is determined whether it is necessary to warm up a power device 12 based on a detection value of a water temperature sensor 66 which detects coolant temperature and a detection value of an oil temperature sensor 68 which detects lubricant temperature. Furthermore, it is determined whether charging of a battery 46 is limited. If it is necessary to warm up the power device 12 and the charging is limited, a second rotary electric machine 18 is driven by inertia of a vehicle to generate electric power, a first rotary electric machine 16 is driven by the generated electric power to motor an internal combustion engine 14. The power device 12 is warmed up by copper loss and iron loss in the rotary electric machine, friction of the internal combustion engine 14, and the like.</p> |
