1. A system, comprising:
a media filter configured to facilitate conversion of nitrogen from a first form that is less likely to outgas from water to a second form that is more likely to outgas from the water; a dosing mechanism configured to dose a carbon feedstock into influent water of the media filter to promote the conversion; a first sensor configured to detect a level of carbon in effluent water from the media filter; a second sensor configured to detect a level of nitrogen in effluent water from the media filter; and a controller configured to control the dosing mechanism based upon levels of carbon and nitrogen in effluent water from the media filter, wherein the controller is further configured to reduce a carbon feedstock dosing rate in response to increasing levels of carbon and nitrogen. |
