The invention relates to an integrative system of water vehicles for collecting and converting plastic waste on open bodies of water, comprising at least one water vehicle, which collects the plastic waste on the ocean, on lakes and/or in shoreline regions and/or mouths of rivers and, as applicable, a transport ship which transports the collected plastic waste to at least one additional water vehicle, which is designed to convert the delivered plastic waste into a form of fuel which is usable by internal combustion engines. |
