<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion resin-based coating material which stably exhibits a desired viscous behavior even if water, a color paste or a primary color coating material is added just before coating. <P>SOLUTION: The emulsion resin-based coating material contains a copolymer (A) and a resin emulsion component (B) containing an acryl resin emulsion having a lowest film forming temperature within the range of -20 to 50°C. The copolymer (A) is obtained by copolymerizing (m-1) a macromonomer having a polymer chain and a polymerizable unsaturated group, which is obtained by polymerizing a monomer component (I) containing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a) having a 3-24C alkyl group in an amount of 5-100 mass% and has a number average molecular weight within the range of 1,000-10,000, (m-2) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a hydrophilic group, and (m-3) a monomer component comprising another polymerizable unsaturated monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
