<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed package which is obtained by sealing a pair of glass substrates by using a sealing glass material and has satisfactory airtightness and excellent bending strength.SOLUTION: The sealed package includes: the pair of glass substrates opposed to each other; a sealing layer which is disposed between the pair of glass substrates so that the outer peripheral vicinities thereof are sealed thereby and has a picture frame-like shape mainly comprising straight line parts and the thickness equal to or larger than 10μm; and a sealing region surrounded by the inside surfaces of each of the glass substrates and the sealing layer. The sealing layer is obtained by calcining a sealing material layer comprising a sealing glass material, which contains sealing glass and a laser absorbing material, and a vehicle and laser-firing the calcined sealing material layer. The line width of the sealing layer in the straight line part is made equal to or larger than 150μm and smaller than 450μm, the cross sectional area thereof in the thickness direction is made equal to or larger than 800μmand smaller than 2,000μm, and a ratio of the line width of the sealing layer to that of the calcined sealing material layer is made equal to or larger than 100% and smaller than 150%.</p> |
