The updates to the replication source are then controlled based on the composite health of the replication. |

1. A method of providing enhanced replication to facilitate data protection, the method comprising:
monitoring a replication from a replication source to a plurality of replication targets of updates implemented in the replication source to identify an individual health of the replication for each of the plurality of replication targets; determining a composite health of the replication based on the individual health of the replication for each of the plurality of replication targets; and controlling the updates to the replication source based on the composite health of the replication, including at least one of throttling the updates and delaying the updates. |
