METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING WIRELESS DOCKING NETWORK

Methods and apparatuses are provided for managing a Wireless Docking Network(WDN). A Wireless Docking Center(WDC) receives a creation request message for creating the WDN from a Wireless Dockee(WD). The WDC identifies one or more peripheral devices based on the creation request message. The WDC creates the WDN based on the one or more peripheral devices. A response message including an ID of the WDN is transmitted from the WDC to the WD.
