PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of appropriately setting a light shielding plate in accordance with the development and movement of a reflector.SOLUTION: An HUD device 1 includes: a storage case 6; an irradiation device; a combiner 3; a combiner movement mechanism for moving the combiner 3 between a storage position where the combiner is stored in the storage case such that the upper part of the irradiation device is covered and a development position where the combiner is protruded from the storage case 6 via an opening 62a; a drive motor 32 for transmitting power to the combiner movement mechanism to perform the moving operation of the combiner 3; a light shielding plate 5 for shielding unnecessary light; and a light shielding plate movement mechanism for moving the light shielding plate 5 between a saving position positioned in association with the storage position of the combiner 3 and a normal position positioned in association with the development position of the combiner 3. In this case, the light shielding plate movement mechanism is connected to the combiner movement mechanism such that power can be transmitted from the combiner movement mechanism, and configured to move the light shielding plate 5 while being interlocked with the moving operation of the combiner 3. |
