PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus that can easily attach and detach a mounting member to a moving body without taking out the moving body from a case. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: a body frame 12; a carriage 16 movably supported in the body frame 12, which executes printing on recording paper and supports a recording head; and a sensor 30b detachably mounted to the carriage 16. An opening 35 is arranged at a position corresponding to the sensor 30b in the body frame 12 so that the sensor 30b can be attached and detached to the carriage 16 from the outside of the body frame 12.
