摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method and a device for driving a liquid crystal device are provided to implement an interference image with colors when implementing a narrow viewing angle and to improve brightness when implementing a wide viewing angle by including sub pixels of R,G, and B. CONSTITUTION: A viewing angle controller(10) supplies a viewing angle control voltage to viewing angle control lines of a liquid crystal panel(2). A plurality of unit pixels are comprised of R,G, and B sub pixels of an image display region and a viewing angle control region. The viewing angel control region includes a first NMOS TFT, a second NMOS TFT, and a third NMOS TFT. The first NMOS TFT supplies the image signal to a pixel electrode in response to a scan pulse inputted from a gate line of a current terminal among the gate lines. The second NMOS TFT supplies the external common voltage to the lower common electrode according to the viewing angle control voltage from the viewing angel control line. The third NMOS TFT electrically connects the lower common electrode and the pixel electrode to make the same potential in response to the scan pulse of the front gate line.</p>
