PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image forming apparatus that can prevent an increase in torque and the occurrence of deterioration of members, and control the amount of toner particles on a photoreceptor while forming toner layers having a uniform thickness.SOLUTION: In this wet type image forming apparatus, the surface of a supply member 5 and the surface of a developer carrier 4 are rotated in the same direction at the same peripheral speed at a contact part n1 between the supply member 5 and the developer carrier 4; a control unit 100 provides a potential difference between the developer carrier 4 and the supply member 5 to transfer toner particles 41a on the supply member 5 onto the developer carrier 4, and controls the power of a first charging member 6 to control the amount of the toner particles 41a on a latent image carrier 1. |
