PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto-programming apparatus capable of creating a nesting program for automatically changing the disposition of a long-sized part exceeding a predetermined length without reducing the yield.SOLUTION: The auto-programming apparatus creates a processing program of a processing machine. When a piece of information of parts and a piece of information of members to be machined, the auto-programming apparatus performs a yield-first nesting to determine whether any parts longer than a predetermined length are included based on the part information. Determining that parts longer than a predetermined length are included, the auto-programming apparatus detects a portion which is to be cut off in a vertical direction with respect to a length direction of the part to be machined. The auto-programming apparatus sorts the parts into several groups based on the portion to be cut off, sets the disposition of the parts longer than the predetermined length and rearranges the groups of the parts based on the set disposition of the parts. |
