PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize device dependence and to smoothly use a service by utilizing only a browser.SOLUTION: An embedded browser agent-based service access control system comprises: a server for providing an Internet protocol service; and a browser agent including device information and service information and controlling access of a device and the server. According to the service access control system, device dependence can be minimized in an embedded browser-based IPTV service, and the IPTV service can be smoothly used by utilizing only a browser.
