DOUGH FORMING PRESSING PLATE WITH SPACERS A system (100) comprising: a pressing plate (502) to form a plurality of products held by a supporting surface by applying a first pressure against a first surface of each of the plurality of products; a skin (506) removably attachable to the pressing plate (502), wherein the skin (506) is located between the pressing plate (502) and the supporting surface when attached to the pressing plate (502) and is held proximate the pressing plate (502) with vacuum pressure; a plurality of spacers, wherein each of the plurality of spacers is located between the skin (506) and the pressing plate (502) when the skin (506) is attached to the pressing plate (502), corresponds to one of the plurality of products, and has a thermal conductivity between about 5 to 5500 W/(m*K); a seal (508) located around a peripheral edge of the pressing plate (502) that facilitates the creation of the vacuum pressure and holds the skin (506) against the pressing plate (502); and a positioning element that moves the seal (508) to contact the skin (506). |
