PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modular building that can omit columns located at connecting portions of a balcony in formation of a large balcony space by connecting balcony sections of plural building units to each other. SOLUTION: A modular building includes a floor section 46 formed in a planar rectangular shape by combining a plurality of floor beams, columns erected at two corners of the floor section 46 and intermediate sections of two floor beams opposite to each other, and a ceiling section formed by connecting upper end sections of the columns to each other with ceiling beams. Inner balcony units 4 are included in which regions surrounded by the columns in the floor section 46 are made habitable room floor sections 46A and regions except the habitable room floor sections 46A are made balcony floor sections 46B. The inner balcony units 4 are arranged adjacent to each other so that the balcony floor sections 46B are continuous to each other and the habitable room floor sections 46A are separated from each other.
