摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode plate by which a lead-acid battery having improved life performance since accumulation of lead sulphate is suppressed even if it is used in a low SOC, a liquid type lead-acid battery using the same, and a method of manufacturing the lead-acid battery.SOLUTION: The negative electrode plate for a lead-acid battery includes an active material containing carbon particles and a lattice body having a lattice part forming a plurality of measures for holding the active material. A value (carbon conductivity/mesh area) obtained by dividing carbon conductivity of the carbon particles found by the following formula (1) by the mesh area of the lattice body found by the following formula (2) is equal to or more than 1.0×10&OHgr;. m. mass%. Carbon conductivity (×10&OHgr;m. mass%)=percentage content (mass%) in the active material after chemical conversion/{powder resistivity(×10&OHgr;. m)×an average particle diameter(×10m)}...formula (1), and a mesh area (×10m)=the width of the lattice part(×10m)×the height of the lattice part(×10m)/the number of measures...formula (2).
