<p>PURPOSE: A power train of an automatic transmission is provided to use selective operation of first to fourth clutches and first and second brakes, thereby realizing forward speed 8 and backward speed 1. CONSTITUTION: A first planetary gear set(PG1) comprises a first operation member, a second operation member, and a third operation member. The second operation member is selectively connected to an input shaft, and is selectively connected to a transmission case. The third operation member is fixably connected to an output shaft. The second planet gear set(PG2) comprises a fourth operation member, a fifth operation member, and a sixth operation member.
